No, but here's a story. A friend was running Greezed Lightnin'
one day. This was one of the seasons where they briefly
instituted ride coupons. You know, you could pay for a full day
pass or you could pay for a low price access pass and you needed
coupons to ride rides (a, b, c and d coupons). So, we had these
tall square rubbermaid plastic tubs (looked like a garbage can) with
slitted wooden top attached (to put tickets in). I suppose the
sign shop or someone made the things back in the fabrication back area.
Anyway, this day, somehow this rubbermaid ticket holder managed to get
just a little bit too close to the tracks and as Greezed Lightnin' sped
out of the station towards the loop, the container fell onto the
tracks. Well, no one is going to be silly enough to jump on the
tracks to get this thing while the train is out of the station.
So, *bam* the train slammed into it coming back through the
station. This ticket container went flying into the air with all
the tickets raining down to the ground.
Neither the train nor was anyone on the train hurt, but it was sure a
sight to see all these tickets fluttering around and this container
flopping on the ground. I believe the container survived just
fine. It's rubbermaid. Not so sure about the wooden top.
